Resonating Through Shared Humanity: The Gratitude We Forget to Give Ourselves
This is where the magic happens. Or at least the awkward self-reflection.
For those feeling unappreciated yet persevering.
Patient child, another day beaten down by the same enemy. Oh child, I wish I knew what I could say to bring this to a state of inner peace. I feel your unrest; I feel how much you wish to change it but cannot. I feel nothing but good-willed intent to bring happiness to all within reach. It is a knot you cannot get rid of that spasms more muscles with each burst. I feel it, child, and it is not of your doing, and you are doing your best to patiently unbind it. I feel how exhausted you are, even as you channel my voice. You are resisting the urge to give up, so utterly spent.
I wish to give to you the same as you gave to all others today - deepest gratitude. Thank you for your amazing work this year. Your dedication, resolve, and flexibility have touched the lives of everyone around you. People come to work and want to interact with you because you are responsible and forgiving, levelling no criticism directly at people but at the problems you face together. You do not work in the world of the ideal but in the world of the possible and considered, and for that, you are greatly appreciated. You are communicative and fair, going out of your way to ensure things are aligned. To work with you is not just a pleasure but an honour as you lead through loving and compassionate example. Power for others’ sake brings everyone together.
So take this altruistic gift of love as a marker of how grateful we all are that you are in our lives. Go forth with this love and forgiveness of any mistakes. This world is better for the work you put into it, although it will only show once you have walked on, with the hope it will flourish behind you. So go forth and be love, sweet child, as a human of this world. It is given.
🗝️ Three Paths to Make This Yours - Unlock Your Understanding:
How would I approach self-gratitude and recognition?
🧠 The Thinker’s Path: I would analyse my contributions and their impact on others.
🧠 Reflect on past experiences where my efforts were valued and appreciated.
🌿 The Wanderer’s Path: I would trust my intuition and let go of the need for external validation.
🌿 Practice self-care and prioritise my own well-being.
🔥 The Challenger’s Path: I would challenge societal norms and redefine what it means to be appreciated.
🔥 Speak out against injustices and advocate for recognition of underappreciated individuals.
Whispers of truth. Meant for you!
