Resonating Through Shared Humanity: The Weight of the World, Carried in Love
This is where the magic happens. Or at least the awkward self-reflection.
For those feeling crushed by their own kindness.
Surviving child, there is much I wish to say. I can feel the exhausted core that cannot feel anything but the emptiness of the day, so I shall not say it. I wish in these moments I had salve for your ailments, and yet the salve is action that you are not positioned to take. Things that would seem like good advice are likely to be reflected as glib and unhelpful, so I shall refrain and instead show you gratitude. It takes a lot to do what you do, in the ways that you do it. The drain on your energy comes from interacting with a world not built for how you wish to live. I know you play the infinite game and seek to always be building and creating liveliness anew, but that is not what keeps you fed. The gurus will tell you to prioritise, and in a sense, they are right, and yet it is also true that in the deepest exhaustion, there feels like no space—an elephant squishing a man in a shipping container.
Therefore, I would embrace you so that you feel safe and can let these emotions flow clearly, as hot or as cold as required. No words apart from those appreciating the work, the thought, the consideration, and the restraint you show—giving what you can and not taking more than you feel you need, not want. Such grace you extend to the world around you, such love you show it. Although you are squished, it is your love for the world that puts you there, in someone else's stead.
I fear for your safety, as you have dissolved your needs and held infinite space for the humanity of others. You live in hope of change and of recognition that may never come. Altruistic and living child, you make this work—the world does not progress without the sacrifices of each person, not by being "busy" and just "doing things you can," but by sacrifices of the self and the "giving up" of pieces of you for the greatness of humankind. You do not want to hate, I feel that. You are deeply saddened that you feel alone in your offerings, as though you cannot be amplified without someone of the same frequency.
Let me assure you, in some ways, you do not need it. Today feels low, and yet you will come tomorrow with the same hope and offering to the world. Build, sweet child, build! Your utopia awaits—not because someone else or some entity will make it so, but because you will craft it, care for it, maintain it, and share it through loving intention and hard work. Like today. Pain is learning, learning is strength, and strength is a chance to create a better world.
🗝️ Three Paths to Make This Yours - Unlock Your Understanding:
How would I approach the pain of others without abandoning myself in the process?
🧠 The Thinker’s Path: I would trace the origins of their anger to avoid internalising it as my own.
🧠 Journal each time you feel responsible for someone else’s emotions, and map where that belief came from.
🌿 The Wanderer’s Path: I would breathe through the discomfort and honour my intuition when it tells me to step back.
🌿 Practise saying “I trust you to handle this” aloud, gently, when someone tries to pass you their pain.
🔥 The Challenger’s Path: I would set bold emotional boundaries and refuse to apologise for protecting my peace.
🔥 Create a mantra that affirms your right to peace—even when others are in chaos—and speak it when guilt creeps in.
The truth is simple and hard: You’re always one choice away from a new path.
Whispers of truth. Meant for you!
