This time, weβre diving into the Impediments to Change
Thanks for joining me on this voyage of reflection and consideration seeking out the wisdom in what has passed and what is to come. Below are some collected and themed insights so that we can resonate on the same wavelength and dive into our collective journey from problems to personal growth.

π§ Heading Reflections
βChange is merely the difference between two states, effort is not necessarily the only motivator of that update in state. Any time I have been faced with change I have always tried to let it piss me off less than I thought I needed it. What can you do to figure out if this is an effort problem or an environment problem and what can you do to tip it to your favour?β
βBarriers exist not to challenge us, specifically, but to instead reflect the active nature of the world.β
βWe all want the outcomes that reside in our head, this can be quite noble. To actualise them it is imperative that we realise our ego is forcing us to "push" at a "pull" door, sometimes perspective is needed to see the other doors nearby.β
β¨ Wisdom of the Greats
βNot everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced." - James Baldwin
βWe cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses." β Carl Jung
βThe dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew." β Abraham Lincoln

Airtable - I have a deep love for this tool it is a no code database you can use for storing any sort of structured data from book reviews to wedding guests - for the latter it was incredibly useful.

Currently Reading: Clear Thinking by Shane Parrish (Amazon)
This is a book where clarity in decision making is clearly in the forefront of the authorβs mind and well articulated - that is why I am enjoying it so much!
